Never thought i would be posting something like this but here i am. Both of my "kids" are eating there poop! I have never had one of my dogs do this before but both of them are doing it. When we catch them we tell them NO!
and put them in there crate but they just keep doing it. Its not because they are hungry we feed them quite good..HELP

it is common - go to petsmart or petco and get a powder to put on their food - it makes their poop totally unpalatable. Dogs sometimes do it because they are missing something in their diet - (sort of like women who eat clay or dirt when they are pregnant).

This worked for me with a previous dog(s),,,,,,,add pumpkin filling or pineapple chunks to the dog(s) food. It supposedly makes their poop taste bad!!!!!.............Like shit would taste good????!!!!!!! Good luck!!!! Michelle

My dogs have gone through different phases like that. I can't say why. One thing I did (not to handle the problem itself, but to deal with their VERY BAD breath after the fact) is to feed the plain Greek yogurt to them and it helps with the "death mouth".

We got the pills yesterday to give them every day for 2 weeks so we will see what happens. Ya, the breath is the worst! we have mouth wash i rub all over there face and mouth but boy does that smell. Makes you think twice about asking them for a kiss!
