Well... we took Antar to the beach in the Keys and wow..... he is definately a water dog!!! I walked - he and my jack russell swam out 150 yards ATLEAST 10-12 times today and he still wanted more! It looked like it was no effort for him to swim compared to my little jack russell.. Antar is a very "pawy" dog and while swimming he kept using his paw to try to grab my other dog and in doing so, almost drowns him lol!
he just loved the water... and oh .. watch out for the crab holes! He is very awkward at his young age and got dunked underwater atleast a dozen times lol! was so funny...
we had such a good time with hiim at the beach!
Helene always says these dogs can find a teaspoon of water in a desert...
well they can also take home half the beach sand lol! you should see my bathtub! i can't believe that all came off him!!!!

You should check in with DeAnne who has one of Antar's littermates. She is also a little waterdog, but she does it in a pool with a life vest. Looks like we have some of those Newfie genetics pushing through in this litter.
