Posting Images
The new forum software supports uploading of images to the forum. This is different from the old method since we no longer need to use postimage.org. This is a good thing as it gives us more options.
Unfortunately, images straight out of a digital camera are huge, and we only have a limited amount of space to hold the website and all the pictures people want to upload. There is software available that will automatically resize an image when you upload it, but I need to work with our host to have that software installed in the server. At this time, it's being worked on.
In the meantime, there are free services available online for image hosting and easy picture resizing. The first option is to use postimage.org - the method we were using with the old software, this still works. Another option is to use a service like photobucket - this is a free image hosting service. They allow you to create online photo albums, easily resize images, and link to them on forums such as this one. Either one of these should work until I'm able to get our website provider to upgrade the software on the server.

Sucks to be me. I don't have a snapfish account nor do I want to sign up for one.

postimage.org does not require an account.

Re: Posting Images
There is now a link to use postimage again similar to the old forum.
I've added a button to the formatting toolbar called 'postimage'
use that.

If you use the postimage button in the toolbar, it'll automatically put the link to your picture in your post. There shouldn't be anything else that you need to do.

Re: Posting Images
This took me all of about 4 minutes to make and was unscripted, but should give you the basic idea of posting pictures to the website.
